Abraham Agonafer was one of more than eight thousand people gathered in Los Angeles to welcome Ethiopia’s Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, to listen his speech and ask questions. Abraham travels to Los Angeles all the way from Vancouver, Canada to ask PM Abiy Ahmed the whereabouts of his disappeared brothers under Ethiopia’s iron fist regime (TPLF) two decades ago.
Abraham’s brother Daniel Agonafer and three of his nephews Alemayehu Tessema, Wondosen Tessema and Menelik Tessema were detained by Ethiopia’s (TPLF) regime 24 years ago, until now families are searching for their loved ones.
